As this is my first Halloween with a baby I have decided to start a tradition that I hope I can successfully uphold as long as my kids want me to which is to make their Halloween costumes.
So, here is my first wack at it!

Sushi was my absolute TOP craving when I was pregnant with this little guy so I thought it would be fun to dress him up in it!

Here's what I used
Picture
I ended up being able to send LESS than $10 dollars on this little get up
the felt was 4 for a $1 and the onesie was around $6
All of which I got from Hobby Lobby!
oh, and I already had the hot glue gun & glue sticks

Alright so here's what I did, I figured out the general shape I wanted the "fish" to be and drew on the felt with a dark ink marker. After which I cut it out.
Picture
After cutting out the fish body I did the same with the tail, "seaweed strip" & the wasabi/ginger
for the seaweed I cut a long strip & the wasabi / ginger I cut in circles.

After cutting everything out I put all the pieces on the white onesie in the places where I will eventually glue them down.

Then I glued it all down!

Here's the finished glued project!
 &
My Hunter wearing it!

I know I'm biased but I have the cutest little sushi roll ever!
I loved how easy, inexpensive & over all adorable this costume was!

For someone who is big on small businesses and wants to start one themselves, it's disappointing that you found this idea from an Etsy shop and didn't give them any credit. Stop plagiarizing.

Hey "Mad" 1. I'm not plagiarizing 2. I had NO idea that an etsy shop was making these. I quite literally figured it out myself because i LOVE sushi. Thats all. Thank you for allowing me to address this & thank you for reading. Have a lovely day.

I was browsing your Pinterest page because we like similar things and you pinned this link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/163203157/sushi-baby-costume-baby-halloween

I don't care that you made a post about how to DIY it and i understand that Pinterest is public domain and is great for ideas. But at least mention that you got the idea from Pinterest and not try to make it seem like an original idea.

I am sure that if someone did something similar to you would be pretty upset. Instead of getting defensive why not try put yourself if someone else's shoes.

It's nice to know that you post my comments only when you have a snark remark to it when it makes you look better. Way to be authentic.

Pretty sure she had no clue that an etsy shop was making and selling these sushi roll DIY costumes, but they're exactly that. DIY! Meaning anyone can do them. No harm was done, it wasn't meant to out do someone. It was just a DIY costume for her baby. No harm done. No reason to be "mad"

Mad - The reason I did not reply to your comment had little to do with "making me look better" I did in fact have more important things to do than entertaining your cowardess. I will not sit here and argue with you over the state of my character. I will say however that I am able to see where your IP address is. Furthermore, your comments are unwelcome here and this is the last of our interactions. Move along.
